EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Patrick Arlando has over 25 years in the industry including 10 years in Senior Management, and has built up a wealth of experience in the IT and Telecommunication field. He is currently Director of Projects of the ISO/GDPR Department at BDO, looking after IT Security and Privacy (ISO 27001, GDPR). Patrick has extensive experience in the working environment most particularly in Project Management, Quality and Risk Management, Business Continuity, IT Security and Telecommunications, IT Outsourcing, IT Support, IT infrastructure, People Management and also in Financial Management (Budget, Billing, Profitability and Sales).
He has worked on various large scale projects both locally and internationally.
Patrick is also well versed in various technologies such as LAN/WAN, IT security and Load balancing (Firewalls/Reverse Proxies/AntiSpamming), Client/Server and Virtualisation and tripleplay solutions (GPON,Voice, Data, IPTv).
Patrick has received professional training on Arthur Andersen Consulting Program, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Six Sigma, Project Management (Microsoft in collaboration with the University of Capetown) , MCP/MCSE.
